Travel Agent in training

My passion is travel. Whether it be an hour up the road to go shopping or try a new restaurant, or a 10 hour flight to Europe, I find an adventure in every destination. My friend Jana owns a travel agency, and I have been talking with her the last few months on becoming a travel agent myself. So, she has started me out with me becoming a Disney travel agent. I have taken all of the required courses and I have now graduated from the Disney School of Knowledge. I am currently in the process of becoming CLIA registered, and should be done with that in a few days. Right now, i can pretty much book any kind of trips, although I am mainly just booking hotel stays for my friends and family. So if any one wants me to do the leg work for any of your future travel plans, just let me know!

Halloween 2008

This past October I participated in alot of Halloween events.

I went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party down at Walt Disney World, with Todd's family.

The following week, I went to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights with some friends. This picture below is an example of what kind of creatures unexpectedly comes up behind you. I felt breathing over my shoulder and Chadd just said smile. I knew something scary was behind me.

On Halloween, my work brings in little kids for trick or treating. Our department was the 80's and my team dressed up like hair bands. Please, no laughing.

Disney- August 2008

Best Friends

While Tami was away at High School camp, I decided to relieve Tami's hubby Mark with some of the childcare responsibility's. I took Taylor for 3 days and took her down to Disney.

Christy and Delaney also came.

ROAD TRIP!
NAP TIME!

On Wednesday nights after Church, we all go to Chick Fil A. Since it was Wednesday, Delaney said we had to go get chicken...the girls were more interested in the playground.
We had little gift bags for the girls. One for each night and one for each morning! I'm all about bribing the rug rats to be good :) kidding

The first night they got Cinderella washrags and spinning tops.
Good morning! Time for presents!!!

We knew it would be really hot, so we got the girls mini fans

The big girls got fans too!

Animal Kingdom!!We went over to Camp Minnie and Mickey to see some characters. Taylor first saw Brother Bear and ran right to him.

Delaney had nothing to do with anyone except Minnie Mouse

Here are the girls getting into trouble for not staying on the path. The lady was very sweet though and talked to them about all their favorite things that they were seeing at Animal Kingdom.
The girls loved the safari ride!
It was SO HOT!! We ate alot of ice cream.

We left Animal Kingdom and went over to the Magic Kingdom for just a few hours. We sat in Cosmic Rays so the girls could get out of the heat. They were cute trying to hula hoop.
Later that night after their bath, we sat them on the bed for their presents. They got a lovely light up Mickey yo yo! Isn't that exciting?
Wake up! We are going to the Magic Kingdom!!
But first....time for their last gift. They got very excited with this one as it was food. They got a fruit roll up and a clear plastic purse with candy necklaces in them.

Magic Kingdom memories...
Queens of the Monorail.
On our way home, the girls were playing hide and go seek. It was so funny. Delaney hid her self very well as you can see below and Taylor had a hard time finding her. They were cracking us up.

Hope you liked our trip!Until next time, have a magical day!

The Dark Knight

I was a big fan of Heath Ledger. At one point, I was sure he was my future husband. Ha Ha

It was very sad that his life was tragically taken away.
Anyway...I was VERY excited to see the Dark Knight. I wanted to see Heaths last movie, I really like Christian Bale (Batman), and I am just a sucker for movies.

Me and Chadd got tickets to see the movie at the Imax.

Here's Chadd hoping no one was looking at him in the lobby while he posed for the picture.
MY TICKET!
Well....the movie started, and 15 minutes into it, the power goes down! There is a terrible storm outside and it basically knocked out the whole World Golf Village down. We ended up sitting in the darkened theater for over 45 minutes before they said they had to cancel the movie.
The funny part is that we made history! They said in the whole 10 years that they have been open, this was the first time they had to cancel a movie! Chadd and I love making history. We basically know that wherever we go, disaster usually follows!

Well, we had to see the rest of the movie, so we hauled bootie to the AMC theater to see the movie.

Here I am hoping no one in the lobby sees me posing for this picture.

THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!! Every scene that Heath was in as the joker was perfect!
Go see it! you wont regret it.
